Research the provision of I.C.T. in the community of your home town.
Identify the disadvantaged groups who could benefit most from having more access to digital technologies and what is the impact of the current digital divide.
Evaluate the extent to which disadvantaged groups are served by the initiatives.
My village of Stubbington has very few disadvantaged people who could benefit from IT, there might be the odd homeless person who has drifted from fareham, but thats about it, and if they needed to use an IT facility, there is our local libary who provide free internet access. Only around 30% of Stubbington are not enucated in computers and a good 25% of them are 50+, and they could benefit from the BT internet Rangers like in my previous post. In all the digital divide of stubbington is quite small, its just alot of people come to our area to retire as we are quite close to the seaside and central to Portsmouth and Southhampton.
