3.3 Collecting Data

In my opinion the internet on the whole is a good source of information, although to reap the full benefits it must be noted that alot of the internet have been contributed by the public, an example of this is wikipedia, in this sense it can be argued that its not that reliable. But websites and information that has come from paper based material that have been published can be seen as much more of an accurate source.

As stated above, I believe that printed source is more reliable that the internet because in most cases it has been published, proofread and sampled by many people, where as anyone can post on the internet, therefor some being a primary source, again makes them unreliable.

Prediction techniques I feel are a fairly good source of information as they tend to be moderated and people who tend to read them know what they are looking for, although that said, it is simply just an educated guess. As a source of information it can be fairly reliable, although it does depend on what is supplying it.
