When do I use email?

My email acounts don't get used much as I own a flash disk. but when I do use my email accounts, one is used for work that I send to myself and hotmail, and the other is to store junk mail which I dont want in my main account.

I use email at college and at home via logging in to website if at school, or clicking on a desktop shortcut at home.

The major benifits of using email is its easy to access and simple to use, and as long as I have internet its always there, where as if I forget my memory stick I'm stuffed.

The only disadvantages I can think of is of course junk mail although I have got that covered and the fact that when using it at some puplic places you emails can be tracked if they have a rude word in or 'indecent material', many times I have seen friends at Crofton been taken the mr Woods (the short bloke in the cupboard) because thier emails have poped up on his screen.

Email is less productive at the end of the lesson when work needs to be sent home as it takes a few minutes to log in, make new mail, attach file and send work. It is more productive when you are at home sending mail to yourself to harbour at school.

Email does fulfil its purpose and if you use Windows Hotmail, I would say it does it pretty well too.
